Affiliate Disclosure

Doseful is reader-supported. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission. This page explains how that works.

The short version

Doseful participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

When you click an Amazon link on Doseful and make a purchase, we receive a small commission (typically 1-10% of the purchase price) at no additional cost to you. The commission comes from Amazon's profit margin, not from a higher price for you.

Our Amazon Associate ID

Our Amazon Associate ID is wattsage47-20. You'll see this in our affiliate URLs as ?tag=wattsage47-20. This tag is what tells Amazon to credit our account when you make a purchase.

What this means for you

  • You pay the same price — whether you buy through our link or go directly to Amazon, the price is identical
  • You get the same product — the link takes you to the exact product we recommend
  • We earn a small commission — typically 1-10% of the purchase price
  • Your purchase supports Doseful — the commission helps us continue creating free content

Our editorial independence

Affiliate commissions do not influence our editorial decisions. We recommend products because we believe they help GLP-1 users — not because they pay higher commissions. In fact:

  • We recommend products across multiple price points, including budget options
  • We include both pros and cons for every product we recommend
  • We say when a product isn't worth it, even if we'd earn a commission on it
  • We don't accept paid sponsorships or paid placements
  • We don't allow advertisers to review or approve our content before publication

How we choose products

Every product we recommend must meet these criteria:

  1. Solves a real GLP-1 user problem — nausea, hydration, protein intake, muscle preservation, injection site care, etc.
  2. High customer ratings — typically 4.3+ stars on Amazon with 1,000+ reviews
  3. Reputable brand — established companies with good customer service
  4. Fair price — competitive within its category
  5. Personally vetted — we've either used the product ourselves or thoroughly researched it

FTC compliance

In accordance with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines, we disclose our affiliate relationships:

  • This disclosure page is prominently linked in the footer of every page
  • Articles containing affiliate links include a disclosure at the top of the article
  • Affiliate links use rel="nofollow sponsored noopener" attributes per Google and FTC guidelines
  • Affiliate links open in new tabs so you can easily return to Doseful

Other advertising

In addition to affiliate commissions, Doseful displays ads through Google AdSense (and may add premium ad networks like Mediavine or Raptive as we grow). Display ads are clearly labeled as advertising and don't influence our editorial content.
